Aranesp (Darbepoetin Alfa) is an erthropoetin stimulating agent that can increase red blood cell production. Aranesp is used to treat anemia. Aranesp is an injectable medication that should be stored in the refrigerator. We ship this product via UPS or FedEx Overnight shipping with a cold pack. Aranesp orders will only be shipped Monday through Wednesday because of the special shipping requirements. This product is Albumin free.
When sealed, Aranesp may be stored at up to 80 degrees for 5 days (120 hours). The purpose of the cold pack in the shipping container is to keep the medication from getting too hot. Once the vial is opened and has been used, the medication should be returned to the refrigerator within a half hour. If you may be unavailable when the medication is delivered, please leave out a good size cooler with cold packs in it for the delivery driver. Please include a note to instruct the driver to place the package in the cooler.

USPS First Class Mail, when available, will generally provide you with the best value. First Class Mail is an air service and is very reasonably priced. Please note that the Postal Service does not guarantee delivery times for First Class Mail but estimates 2-5 delivery days.
