Ketorolac Tromethamine Opththalmic Solution is a prescription non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) eye drop that decreases pain and inflammation. Ketorolac inhibits prostaglandins, the cause of inflammation.
Ketorolac may increase the risk of bleeding. Do not use if the medication changes color, becomes cloudy, or if you see particles in the bottle. There are approximately 20 drops per milliliter in the solution. Store at room temperature or in the refrigerator. Protect from moisture and sunlight.
Use proper sterile administration techniques to avoid contamination of the medication. Keep the cap on the bottle when not in use. Wait 5 minutes after applying Ketorolac to the eye before administering other eye medications.
