Our cat was diagnosed with Kidney disease last month and was finding the SubQ needles the vet gave us to be painful. On the recommendation of other pet owners, these thin walled needles by Terumo were recommended and our cat, while still not excited to need SubQ, is much more tolerant of the process with these needles. I ordered an item for the first time from your company. The particular item was not in stock and a customer service representative named Chris called me to let me know. Chris told me about possible replacement items and educated me on how those items and even the original one that I had ordered actually work. He taught me a lot that I did not know and that is critically helpful going forward in treating my sick cat. Terumo Needles 21 Gauge 1 inch Box of 100 TW

Ordered Terumo needles. Received exactly what I ordered without any issues. Don't see anything wrong with the needles. Package arrived in the mail when they said it would. I think it was a day early actually.
Other info:
The 21 gauge needles turned out to be too large for subcutaneous hydration for this kitty. Too painful and do too much skin damage. Ended up using 25 gauge instead, which takes about six times longer to deliver the fluid but kitty barely even feels the 25 gauge needles and there's virtually no skin damage. The one thing I forgot to do was order 5/8" instead of 1" ... 5/8" is supposedly a bit faster and potentially safer. For some cats you almost have no choice but to use 21 gauge because some cats won't tolerate a lengthy fluid delivery. If the fluid is slightly warmer than their body temperature, they are *far* less likely to be bothered by the fluid delivery.

I’ve known about Terumo needles for decades - maximum flow, minimum pinch.
